  1.              COMPETITION

  4. Yes,  from  this  issue,  The Official
  5. Eurochart  will  have a competition in
  6. each   issue.    In  this  issue,  the
  7. competition  is  for  coders,  but  in
  8. future issues, we'll have competitions
  9. for  graphic  artists and musicians as
  10. well.
  11.  
  12. The winner in each competition will
  13. get:
  15. - A free one year subscription for the
  16.   Eurochart.
  17. - All disks we receive for the
  18.   competition.
  20. The jury will consist of the Eurochart
  21. staff.
  22. After   each   competition,  the  best
  23. entries  will of course be released on
  24. a pack.

  26.            THIS COMPETITION
  27. --------------------------------------
  29. Very  simple:   Make the best possible
  30. bootblock-'demo'.   It is only allowed
  31. to   use   the   1024   bytes  of  the
  32. bootblock.    Please  note  that  just
  33. making a routine of 1024 bytes or less
  34. is NOT enough, it must be installed on
  35. a disk, and the disk must then be sent
  36. to us.

  38. The  bootblock  must of course work on
  39. both  A500  and A2000, with or without
  40. extra memory (!).
  41. It  is  allowed  to  use large precal-
  42. culated animations...
  43.  
  44. The  disk,  and  your address, must be
  45. sent to:

  52. So  come on, start being creative.  As
  53. long  as  your routine isn't too long,
  54. it's  actually  possible to add little
  55. tunes!

  57. If  anyone  should manage to squeeze a
  58. rotating  glenz-vector  to  fit  on  a
  59. bootblock,  I  (Estrup) will of course
  60. do  my  very best, in order to get him
  61. the prize!
